QOOBIX FAQs
Practical answers about access, reports, file formats, verification, retention, and how QOOBIX works.
----------------------------
What is QOOBIX?
QOOBIX is a private market-intelligence application provisioned for selected business clients. It helps businesses create structured commercial intelligence reports for questions such as market entry, distributor discovery, partner discovery, competitor mapping, regional opportunity assessment, positioning, and action priorities.
Is QOOBIX a public SaaS platform?
No. QOOBIX is not a public SaaS platform with open registration. Access is provisioned manually for each client.
Can anyone create an account?
No. Clients cannot create their own public account. Access is created and managed by the operator.
How does a client access QOOBIX?
A client receives a generated access code. The client uses that code to enter their private client area.
Does QOOBIX use traditional usernames and passwords?
No. QOOBIX does not use ordinary public username/password accounts at launch. It uses provisioned client access, generated access codes, client sessions, and recovery phrases.
Can the client change their access code?
Yes. After entering the private client area, the client can set a recovery phrase and rotate their access code.
What happens if a client forgets the access code?
If the client has set a recovery phrase, they can use the recovery process to generate a new access code. The old code is replaced.
Can the operator reset access?
Yes. The operator can issue a temporary reset access code from the hidden provisioning area.
What information does the client enter?
The client completes a business profile and creates market-intelligence requests. The profile may include sector, business description, website, products and services, target countries, customer types, target channels, known competitors, known partners or distributors, and preferred language.
What is a business profile used for?
The business profile gives QOOBIX the commercial context needed to generate more relevant intelligence outputs.
What is an intelligence request?
An intelligence request is a specific commercial question submitted by the client. For example, a client may ask which regions and channels should be prioritised in a target country, or which competitors and alternatives should be mapped for a product.
What kinds of questions can QOOBIX help with?
QOOBIX can help with market-entry analysis, distributor discovery, partner discovery, competitor mapping, regional opportunity assessment, channel prioritisation, positioning, and action-priority planning.
Does QOOBIX generate the report automatically?
Generation is manually triggered from the job page. This keeps the process controlled and avoids unnecessary automatic generation.
What is Proteus?
Proteus is the proprietary intelligence layer behind QOOBIX. It generates structured commercial intelligence from the client profile and the specific intelligence request.
Does QOOBIX use AI?
Yes. QOOBIX uses AI-assisted analysis to generate structured market-intelligence content. The output must always be reviewed and verified before use.
Are QOOBIX reports guaranteed to be accurate?
QOOBIX produces AI-assisted market intelligence, and no tool at the current state of technology — whether AI-assisted or not — can guarantee complete, current, accurate, commercially valid results without human review. For this reason, every report must be reviewed, checked, and interpreted by competent people before it is used for commercial, strategic, legal, technical, financial, procurement, or operational decisions. QOOBIX helps structure intelligence. It does not remove the need for human judgement.
Does QOOBIX replace professional advice?
No. QOOBIX does not replace legal advice, financial advice, technical advice, regulatory advice, commercial due diligence, direct market validation, or professional judgement.
Does QOOBIX perform live web research?
QOOBIX may use live or external discovery sources only when a specific workflow includes them, such as controlled Discovery Mode with named candidate organisations for verification. However, QOOBIX should not be treated as a live web research engine. At the current state of technology, no automated research workflow can replace human checking. All outputs, source signals, candidate organisations, links, categories, and recommendations must be verified before use.
Can QOOBIX name potential partners or competitors?
Yes, where appropriate, QOOBIX may include potential partners, prospects, competitors, substitutes, or market alternatives. These must be treated as items for verification, not guaranteed facts.
What files does QOOBIX generate?
QOOBIX normally generates four output files: DOCX, XLSX, RTF, and CSV.
Which file should I use with Microsoft Word?
Use the DOCX report.
Which file should I use with Microsoft Excel?
Use the XLSX workbook.
Which file should I use with Google Docs?
Use the RTF report. Upload the RTF file to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs.
Which file should I use with Google Sheets?
Use the CSV export. Import the CSV file into Google Sheets.
Why does QOOBIX provide different file formats?
Different tools handle file formats differently. DOCX and XLSX are prepared for Microsoft Office. RTF and CSV are provided for Google Docs and Google Sheets workflows.
Why not use DOCX directly in Google Docs?
Google Docs may not import generated DOCX files reliably. For Google Docs, the RTF version is the cleaner and more reliable option.
Why not use XLSX directly in Google Sheets?
Google Sheets may not preserve all workbook formatting reliably. For Google Sheets, the CSV export is the simpler and more reliable option.
How long are generated files stored?
Generated files are stored temporarily. The default retention period is 30 days, unless configured differently for a client.
Are download links permanent?
No. Download links are temporary signed links. They are currently valid for up to 4 hours.
Can someone else open a signed download link?
Yes. Anyone who has a valid signed download link may open it until the link expires. Clients should share downloaded files and temporary links responsibly.
Does QOOBIX keep a permanent archive of reports?
No. QOOBIX is export-first. Clients should download and keep the files they need.
What happens after the retention period expires?
Files may be deleted during cleanup after the retention period expires. The client is responsible for keeping copies of any files they need.
Does QOOBIX act as a CRM?
No. QOOBIX is not a CRM, sales automation platform, outreach tool, or permanent lead database.
Does QOOBIX store generated intelligence permanently?
QOOBIX is not intended to store generated intelligence permanently as a database archive. It stores operational records and temporary generated files.
Can a client access another client’s area?
No. Client pages and API routes check session ownership. A client should only be able to access their own environment.
Does QOOBIX use cookies?
Yes. QOOBIX uses essential cookies for private access, session security, and application operation.
Does QOOBIX use advertising cookies?
No advertising or behavioural tracking cookies are used at launch.
Where can I read the legal documents?
The legal documents are available from the footer. They include the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, Data Sources and Report Disclaimer, AI and Automated Analysis Notice, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Who operates QOOBIX?
QOOBIX is operated by Sienda Ltd.
How is payment handled?
Payment is handled outside the application, usually by quotation, invoice, and bank transfer.
Can QOOBIX guarantee commercial success?
No. QOOBIX does not guarantee sales, distributor interest, partner availability, market access, regulatory suitability, or commercial success.
What should clients do before acting on a QOOBIX report?
Clients should verify all important information, check sources, confirm potential partners or competitors, review regulatory and technical assumptions, and use professional judgement before taking action.
What is the best way to use QOOBIX?
The best way to use QOOBIX is as a structured decision-support environment.
